Wordle on Popular Young Adult Authors

Make a Wordle about Dewey Classification.
First we will do a quick walk around the Media Center.
Then choose one section to make a Wordle (rubric for Wordle).

How to.... make word clouds with Wordle from David Dodgson on Vimeo.
Your Wordle should contain twenty terms that relate to the section you choose to use. Begin your Wordle by listing the twenty words/terms you want to use on a Word document and save on your laptop.

Save your word doc to a flash drive. Go to one of the desktop computers. Open the document, copy it, and paste it into Wordle. Once you create the Wordle, save the URL onto the flash drive or in your student folder. Give to Mrs. Shinn to print in color.
Put a copy of your Wordle on your wiki page.




Use the Internet to research the terms below. Create a glossary of the terms and their definitions in a word document. Cite your sources. Print the document. Then create a glog of terms using http://edu.glogster.com/ . Post your glog to the wiki.

OPAC, Dewey Decimal System, Fiction, Non-fiction, Periodicals, Boolean Search, copyright, fair use, plagiarism, genre, subject, call number.
